Our clients, who love to cook and entertain, were looking to replace the outdated 1960s kitchen cabinets original to their home and to improve the functionality of their space.
They opted for striking cobalt-colored cabinets. We incorporated a backsplash with a Mid-Century modern design that nods to the home's original era. The dark grout not only highlights this detail but also complements the new appliances and sink. The addition of new gold hardware introduces a warm contrast to the dark cabinets.
To further enhance functionality, we removed the wall between the kitchen and dining room, significantly improving flow for entertaining and providing easy access to the pool and outdoor area. The final result is a modern kitchen that remains true to the original design ethos of the home."
